Yep and that doesn't include TARP. They also lent just as much money to European Banks as they did U.S. Banks. Despicable. How crazy is that? The amount lent was so huge, it would take 100% of profits for 30 years to pay back. They say the loans were collateralized...but with what...the Fed took just about anything as collateral for the loans. They took a bunch of paper as collateral. What a big house of cards. Buy real stuff, real assets (land, gold, natural resources) and dump the paper "assets".
