I had a good laugh at what Cramer said. The HP I worked at that followed the HP was was spun off as Agilent. The present CEO of Agilent is a past manager of my R&D group who is one of the good guys doing a great job. He used to come sit with me at lunch and talk about his ideas on how to run a company to be investor friendly while he was working his way up the upper management chain. It turns out he took the accelerated Stanford MBA program and the key text book they used was the same one I used when I took a special class from the author years earlier so we had that language in common. I think he still has the original stuff that made the original HP great... build great products and give value to shareholders. The strange company with the HPQ ticker is HP only in name after they drove the founders off the board and they spun off Agilent.

Michale Dell suggested they call the spinoff Compaq!
