I make no claim in understanding anything beyond BORL's core product offering (compilers, debuggers, VCL, etc), but does anyone else imagine the uproar that is going on at companies like Sybase/Symantec, FRTE, Novell, etc. right now. Upper management meetings. Outside sales force furiously calling each other to discuss this acquisition and how it will affect them? I know in the area where I am, whenever an acquisition like this occurred, there was always turmoil in field sales. Especially from those sales guys who really didn't understand what they were selling.
