No, they all (Rs & Ds) love it. It just isn't that effective.

Republicans have a problem: They will support, off gut instinct, any tax cut you pitch out there because it is always far better to have PEOPLE have money than to have GOVERNMENT take that money. Always. And I understand that.

HOWEVER. If you're going to spend taxpayer dollars, you should do so where you get the most value. The stimulative value of payroll tax cuts and unemployment benefits, etc., are minimal because they don't create jobs; they merely fund consumption. And they do nothing to improve consumer confidence, the heart of the problem.

Spending dollars on well-structured loopholes for business creates jobs and provides true stimulus because people working are feel better about spending money than people who are unemployment.
