Yes exactly. Also republicans should avoid the word "believe" when discussing this issue. Leaves them open to being miss-characterized as as religious no nothing anti-science nuts. It's not a matter of belief. We have cold science and logic behind us and we need to use it in defense of our country.

No matter the scale of the CO2 effect, the entire world's GDP would be an insufficient fund to reduce it. The earth and nature are just too big and powerful. It has a much better capacity to heal itself than these harpies allow it. You're right, the real threat is the faction that seeks to profit from it.

There may be a negligible CO2 effect, but if there is it's minuscule. The real threat are the people that want to turn global warming into a business.
