No loss of American lives in Libya vs the death, injury and maiming of many thousands of Americans in Iraq. So, the righteousness of a war is determined by the number of American lives lost. By that measure, Hitler and Eva Braun would have lived out their lives in luxury in London or Paris. I think war is rarely righteous. I would not discount the suffering of the Iraqi people, either under Saddam or during their liberation. I think they paid a pretty heavy toll. Heavier than Libyans, by a pretty wide margin. And you don't think the Libyans have suffered??? They fought the good fight.........with pickup trucks and rifles. The Iraqis have yet to get to that point.
