So, the righteousness of a war is determined by the number of American lives lost. By that measure, Hitler and Eva Braun would have lived out their lives in luxury in London or Paris. I think war is rarely righteous. However, I do think if you can pull down a notorious dictator without losing American lives its a blessing. >> *Millions spent in Libya vs trillions in Iraq. Actually, Millions in Libya vs. Billions in Iraq. But to you billions, trillions, it is all the same. When all is said and done, we will have spent trillions in Iraq: http://costofwar.com/en/ And that does not include the cost of Bush's Iraqi embassy which cost nearly a trillion dollars alone.......in addition to the war cost: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/10/06/AR2007100601450.html I mean who the fukk builds a trillion dollar embassy except dumb GOP twats! Every time I see that price tag for that ridiculous embassy I want to tax Bush personally. Of course, Libya would NOT HAVE BEEN EVEN FEASIBLE WITHOUT IRAQ. Since it was the Iraq War that caused Libya to surrender its WMD programs.Okay. H\You get a point. I am feeling generous today. <g> >> *Libyans fighting for and winning their freedom vs Americans coddling the Iraqis and doing their dirty work for them. I would not discount the suffering of the Iraqi people, either under Saddam or during their liberation. I think they paid a pretty heavy toll. Heavier than Libyans, by a pretty wide margin. And you don't think the Libyans have suffered??? They fought the good fight.........with pickup trucks and rifles. The Iraqis have yet to get to that point.
