sanctions against Iran was followed by its decision last September to cancel the sale of Russia’s advanced S-300 surface-to-air missile system to Iran. The deal was done paid for...... and just waiting for a shipping date. So said a news story I remember reading. A day or two later the Ruskies got a visit from the Israeli Ambassador, little was said about it..... I believe he read them the riot act......... I don't think he left any doubt in the Russians minds that if the missiles shipped Iranian sites would be bombed before they arrived........
