Al, > No one is talking about raising taxes short term...the WH proposal didn't envision any tax rates returning to clinton level until 2013. You know what I'm talking about when I mention short-term negative effects. I'm not talking about now vs. 2013. I'm talking about the time they are enacted, whenever that will be, if they are even under consideration. Of course politically the best time to raise taxes is when we can most easily afford it. That's probably why the Obama administration won't raise taxes until 2013. They think the economy will just pick up steam by then. Tenchusatsu
