OK--fair enough. IMHO, the columnist is reaching. The President doesn't control independent Federal Agencies. Additionally, the NLRB is just doing what it is designed to do. It is "hearing" the case. It hasn't made any decision yet. If Boeing can convince them the move is not "retalitory" Boeing could well prevail. Additionally, Boeing might have appellate recourse into the Federal Court system if it loses at the NLRB level. The system is just functioning as it was designed to do so.
