John,

My cost bais in HD is less than $6 and I feel HD is still a good long-term buy! Do not want to pay taxes on the gain!

Look at LCOS and HD, they both reported better earnings and they both took a beating! That is really good news for my shorts that may report better earnings than forcasted such as DELL! Look at CPQ also! I could name a number of companies that are going down on good news, and I'm staying with my DELL short for the same reasons! When trends start in the stock market they tend to treat all stocks the same! Why should DELL be any different? I know, I know the DELLHEADS will claim that DELL is different! But I got news for them DELL is NOT DIFFERENT!

I only wish I could trade in and out like so many claim they do on this thread! I can't and I'm not sure anyone else can either, but I'm not going to argue with them on that! Once I make my position I will stay until I see things that I do not like, and with DELL I do not see anything different as I did when I first started shorting it! I said awhile back I thought DELL would go to the 60's with a rebound to the $85 to $87 level then go down again! Did not make the 60's, but it did hit my up side target and it is ready to start down again!

The Doji would have been nice, but I can assure everyone that I look at a lot more than just charts when buying and selling stocks!
