This "skin in the game" phrase seems to get bandied about. Would you say GE has "skin in the game" in the US?

If you mean, 'Skin in the game' in the GROWTH of Federal Government, of course yes! That's where GE gets half their business, and that's why they don't have to pay taxes! Jeffrey Imelt is now actively working for the Obama White House in some capacity. GE is the prime example of a US crony capitalist firm.

I was referring to the taxpayer's 'skin in the game' to keep DOWN the size of the Federal Government. GE has absolutely NO skin in that game.
