That's why the Chindians will not achieve the per capita waste as the west IMO :O) more constraints.. 700 millions in the West ... 2.5 billion Chindians alone.. I remember .14 ?? / litre gasoline... except it was in Imperial then :o)

Population replenishment. New generations would not know what the last 70 years were. As former communist countries children born after Berlin Wall fall grow up with no real knowledge of the period 1917-1989, European, Japanese and Americans born post 2008, will grow up in a different world. the past will be history for them. Only the Baby Boomers with the real experience and with a stake in the post 2008 outcome are now worried. And rightly so. See Brazilians like my daughter do not know what the lost decade and hyper inflation was all about. It is only history for her.
