However there are limits, trees don't grow so high where the moon would knock them over (for example). but his presentation, including that Hubbert, seems to me to be solid stuff. unless there is a mistake in the analysis. Bartlett argues from the point of view of consumption. I cannot see anything that proves the points made wrong. There are a number of sources that cite that food now mainly comes from oil. A scary scenario. If there are any arguments to the contrary, other then horrific disasters, I would be most interested to hear them.
