Tom, what about that is devastating?

I see a small decline in the wealthier nations' GDP/capita and a much bigger increase in those of the less wealthy. If I take a world perspective, that seems to me a pretty good thing.

It never made much sense for the rich nations to have 10x the income of India and China. Both those nations suppressed their market economies for decades, but that is now over and it is catch-up time.

Even aside from the fairness of it, in the end, a more productive worldwide workforce will benefit everyone

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!
