Sold 70% of my PSS shares this a.m. Fwiw, added to ORCL (forward p/e ~10), utility BKH (relatively low p/stated bv, diversified energy operations, 5% dividend while waiting, div increases)

Shoes: Payless (PSS) is down enough to where I'm now adding back a few shares.

Shoe Carnival (SCVL) touched a 12-mo low today. I'm trying to figure if SCVL might be more undervalued than PSS at their current prices, and maybe a better buy among the two. SCVL has no ltd. and shows better progression in terms of increasing book value. PSS is low based on its current p/stated bv vs. its historical numbers. As Clownbuck has suggested, because PSS has some of its own brands, it has that opportunity for them.

I'll put SCVL on my watch list with a view to maybe buy if stock retouches its low.
