There are news stories out claiming the VA earthquake 'may have' been caused by hydraulic fracturing .. even though there is none of that going on within a 100 miles of the earthquake center.

The only gas drilling in VA is in the extreme southwest part of the state.

I have a friend who's at sea on an ocean-going tug off New York. I'd expect them to ride it out at sea, global warming or not.
