VIAS Case Study... To buy or not to buy, that is the question ?

I have been looking at VIAS chart and there are some indicators that are moving me towards the idea that we are getting ready for a reversal.

1. A new 21 day low which is not confirmed by an equivalent low in On Balance Volume.

2. The Split Volume moving avg. has started to increase which also is a non-conformation signal that there may be a reversal ahead.

3. The down turn yesterday was with relatively low volume

4. The lower Bollinger Band is at 33 3/4, we closed below this mark.

I don't feel confident enough to put out an all out BUY on VIAS, but it should definitely be put on the radar screen.

We could actually go back and test the 52 week low, but I would expect to see more than avg. volume in that kind of sell-off.

Avg. daily volume is currently approx. 650,000

We should see if VIAS tries to form a bottom here.

I may even buy some short term puts and some long term calls. I think if you straddle this one it would be a good move.

CHRZ PERFORMANCE

CHRZ has an IBD EPS rating of 99. The relative price index value has risen to 64 up from 47 when most stocks tanked on 10/27. The software industry according to IBD is now the 24th ranked industry out of 200 up from 50 3 months ago.I continue to strongly believe Y2K stocks will be strong performers during the next 2 months.
