That trade on BAC was getting a little too easy and the old fox from Omaha prolly already made 1/2 Bil on that reversal today ...Fed pulled out one of their last Ace's up their sleeves (but they'll print more) with that move. Of note, the European traders were left only with shorting our Banks lately since the Ban on shorting there has been in full effect . That Ban was to be lifted tomorrow but putting on thinking their thinking caps , realized this was prolly not the smartest moment to be lifting that Ban right on the day of the Fed ...not now . the Euro's now are enforcing an extension out past Sept ...France, Italy and Spain Extend Short-Selling Ban http://www.nytimes.com/2011/08/26/business/global/france-italy-and-spain-extend-short-selling-bans.html XLF got beaten down again after the pop this am (GLD then popped)....this is the one to watch tomorrow for its on the edge of Armegeddon but they're obviously pulling out all the stops ......but with absolute terrible guidance out of AMAT & retailers lately, this market shouldn't be going up too far anytime fast . This must really have them squeezing their buns tight , this is where they will really put up a fight ...best case scenario they get a rally that's stopped dead and a sell off they get lucky prolly hold @ that 1120 tomorrow Pretty doji , overold yet still alot of space underneath , they're buying themselves more time.
