I contested the outrageous exaggeration and no one has provided any proof. OK, perhaps I jumped the gun on labeling you, and I apologize. But I'm not ready to concede "outrageous exaggeration". There are thousands of scams from welfare to food stamps to tuition to housing and rents to furnaces to summer camps and utility assistance, and numerous more. If you try to look them up, the first warning that you get from researchers is that "this is nearly impossible to quantify". Statistics are fudged, hidden and never reported. I'm also certain that there are many scams not even announced or known yet. You could (IMO) reserve your disgust for the people cheating the poor and the unfortunate, and not take it out on the people paying for it It may not be "millions of people", but it certainly totals up to hundreds of millions of dollars..........and I for one am tired of coughing up the money, then being hated and called an uncaring racist.

Sidney..................I personally know 4 able bodied people who are scamming the government for benefits they are not qualified to receive. I have heard of several others. That is not millions, but I have no doubts that millions of able bodied citizens are receiving unearned government hand outs. The people suffering the burden of taxation to cover these expenses are revolting and will do what ever they can to make sure that all welfare programs in this country are completely reformed. Not only do they not get a thank you, they are vilified, abused and are sick and tired of people taking advantage of them.
