Re SEE - the Diversey acquisition which appears to exceed the value of SEE's market cap gives me pause. It also is concerning that the CFO resigned a fe weeks ago when the acquisition was approved. Maybe he found some math errors. I decided to pass when I looked at the stock recently.

Did you look at OI- they have execution issues and too much debt but at least the current maker valuation reflect the trouble. I guess they should be able to bounce back as they have in the past. I don't own it but I am looking.

UFPT - which "substantial contract ended"? If you're referring to:

A substantial portion of a large automotive door program ended on June 30, 2011. The Company expects that the end of this program will result in reduced revenues of approximately $625,000 per month in its Georgia facility in the second half of 2011, as compared to the same period of 2010.

then it's only about 6% of revenue. Are you referring to something else?

BTW, company lost 1.4M medical contract last year and made it up in other segments, so it's possible they can find lost revenues somewhere else again. Contracts end every year in these companies. If you sell on contract end news, you're already too late.

Disclosure: Large UFPT position.

Packaging business. I'll take a few shares in a couple of packaging stocks now. Although... so many USA/multinational industrial companies (consumers of packaging materials) seem to be reporting excellent earnings now, it may be too late to buy containerboard stocks -- any good news may already be in these packaging companies' stock prices.

RKT: Passed on it last August at about $47, I'll step up now for just a very very few shares at $62.
KS: In for a very few shares. Looks like it's been profitable each year of its seven year public history. Relatively high roe for a relatively low p/e.
