Oh, I definitely think that they can topple the pyramid, hence my comment about the lack of robustness of complex systems. I think Italy and France are even more likely to cause global systemic problems. We do not have enough resources to bail out the Euros and their Fund is paltry considering the problems. The euro will not exist in its present form within a year. There are simply too many things going wrong and which have a very reasonable possibility of causing global harm.......the Fall scares me. I wish I could grab people by the coat lapels and demand that they buy gold, but so far I have been unable to get the point across.
