Given the number of people we are talking about, the chances that none of them would die today are pretty slim ... the storm probably saved a number of lives because people are not out on the roads.

Let's say we are talking about 20,000,000 people ... what are the odds that not a single one of them would die on 8/27/11?

Weak by Krugman's measure. He had a couple GDP points tacked on for the broken window myth. Expect another positive spin Monday on the backdraft.

its a basic storm....they dont even have any footage...they are relying on old footage from previous hurricanes to ad an air of 'excitement'....

Cat 1 and even Cat 2 don't warrant coverage.

They are reallllllllly stretching to make this seem like a big a deal.....

Heck our power goes out at least 6 times a year.

They now have cover when retail sales will be down...well it was all storm related.....

State of Emergency declared which will bring if FREE money.
