Doug, Valid questions. First, I'm not so sure John Daly isn't signed for the event. Granted it doesn't specify him by name, but: ~~~~"Crenshaw as the latest professional to join the field for the inaugural Classic Series tournament to be held March 30, 1998 at Raven Golf Club."~~~~ latest professional to join.... Second, MONY is tied to Pointe Hilton, which is tied to Raven Golf Club. I was never aware that MONY was putting up cash. I read it as a "sponsorship", and to me, that can be cash, or as in ACCY's case, securing the site or something similar. That also has a dollar value. I don't profess to know anything, these are just my observations..;-) Theo
