Stranger in a Strange Land Is it in this book that the term "grok" came from? Came up in a conversation recently....I think this was the book but not sure....

I was talking with a friend today who was explaining to me how much decision making takes out of us mentally. . ABSOLUTELY......there was just a piece in the NYT related to this....I'll try digging it up right now... The poor get worn out just trying to survive. YUP...which is why they need us to fight for them.... 25% of children right now aren't sure if they will have enough to eat for the day when they wake up.......imagine all those young, growing brains, geniuses, some of them, lacking adequate nutrients trying to learn math and science, art and philosophy....trying to make sense of how their world works, where they fit.................. Yet, it is ONLY us liberals who even think of these things.................
