On Thursday, i watched throngs of people "evacuating" NJ shore town and filling up their tanks under Gubner Krispy Kreme's direction. The one gas station before the bridge that takes you to the mainland had lines a block long in every direction, blocking the main intersection, backing up traffic, and wreaking havoc for everyone trying to leave. Just over this bridge, there are gas stations every two blocks in every direction. Little doubt they were void of customers.
Panic is a wonderful thing. Fortunately, the machines on WS have all but eliminated that, or we'd be at Dow 666

i guess they shifted the revenues elsewhere.....pretty much a wash....
do transit workers get paid for the shutdown?

12 states declare state of emergency?

They didnt forecast anything larger than a cat 2. For some reason i believe this was more of a test of evacuation powers and backdoor for fed aid. If no one is there to see the non damage, no one can question.
