In this case it's not a cop out to say "everyone knows" Republicans are always trying to cut social programs. Republicans only represent the interests of business and the rich.

Yes and some republicans donate over a million dollars a year to charities to help the poor. Limbaugh, Beck and O'reilly are three that come to mind. I have no idea of what their liberal counterparts in the media contribute.
