Christian conservatives (me) are only Republicans because of one issue, abortion. There used to be the issues of smaller government and fiscal responsibility too but the ruling elite of the party have thrown those issues out the window. Proof...NO ONE complained when Bush grew the government and the deficit for eight years. This whining and crying now about spending is ALL PARTY POLITICS. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT SPENDING. If christians ever wake up to the fact that the rulers in the party don't care about abortion either they might just stop voting. It's misleading to use that study because the study group gives because they are Christians, not because they are Republicans.
