It was a great program. I though of Obama complaining about what he inherited and some people who claim he has it tougher than any other president. In his 2 1/2 years in office he has face no challenge that comes close to what Bush faced on 911 and the days that followed.

A question that I have always had was answered. Why didn't they go directly back to the Whitehouse? Bush wanted to but the secret service said that Washington was under attack. One plane hit the pentagon and another was in route and they didn't know what else might be coming. The vice president and most of the senior staff was at risk in the Whitehouse. They did the right thing by going to an air force base.

One story he didn't tell last night was that his mother called him that evening when he was back at the Whitehouse. She said she was in Wisconsin. He ask what are you doing there? She said YOU GROUNDED MY PLANE. Bush mentioned this story on his book tour.
