Dunno what HSBC is like globally. From the perspective of a bankruptcy lawyer, they are the original Gang That Could Not Shoot Straight. Business model: loan to world class deadbeats at high interest rates. When said deadbeats inevitably default, send in the collection lawyers and the rest of the goon squad to break legs. Breaking legs to get paid, well, the Mafia does that, but I think the Mafia would rather sell dope and hookers to the willing than break the legs of the unwilling. BWDIK?
