New Zealanders think a national Hippie commune is an economic entity. They don't want any icky things like oil wells, factories, gold mines, They have magical thinking about wealth. It is an entitlement culture = "the world owes us a living and the government has the money so can just give out as much as they like". Most people now live off taxpayer money so the decline will likely accelerate which debts are doing at $1.3 billion per month [a lot in per capita terms]. <Don't bother showing up in NZ. PBR and Shell tried but the Kiwis don't want oil. > NZers want oil, but want it to just magically appear at the pump, costing not much. Mqurice
