"The markets" are just other words to describe sentiment "management" and spin. And it's worldwide - not just the US, Europe, China, Brazil, etc.

One of the many downsides to "globalization" is how fast the problems spread and infect, and how easy it makes MSM jobs to hide and ignore or spin important stuff... and Mish virtually never mentions it.
