<off topic, perhaps>
just heard on npr radio (national public radio, usa) that by year 2002 the euro will be the currency of europe (i was knowledgeable about this, however, a new insight) and that this means all software, computer based systems, etc., will have to be redone to conform to the new needs, very similar to the year 2000 PROBLEM for software , imo.
so,
threaders, who (international companies) is thinking/ working,on this situation?
5 years out, who is going to do this conversion for all eu nations?
comments....please.
if someone is knowledgeable on this subject, please start a thread, sorry to jump in, however, this could be an interesting and profitable field.
great thread.
