Don't feel too bad, when I was in graduate school I wrote a professional journal article for one of the medical journals which was approved by the journal and was going to be published in the next monthly issue... I received a nice letter from the editor telling me how much he enjoyed the research I conducted and that these are the kinds of research studies they were looking for... about a week or so later, I received another letter from the same editor, this time he told me that he appreciates my efforts but the article was not satisfactory and could not be published... WHAT??? I was pissed until I found out that the evidence in my research was counter to the claims made by one of the pharmaceutical sponsors of that journal... so much for scientific honesty and integrity... I was really pissed until one of my professors told me this happens very frequently... so, join the club...<g>
