No, they will be going back and forth forever because different people have different views and always will. The views may or may not be influenced by religion. All I was suggesting is that there is no permanent social issue conclusion. There is no final election that will forever decide these issues.

Now on the fiscal side, I think there is some permanent damage that can/will be done if those issues are not the #1 priority of the 2012 election winner. I want tax reform and entitlement reform dealt with in early 2013 immediately after the next presidential term begins.
