Targeting of the EPA rules will turn this country into a Third World country whose waters and air are polluted and people die like flies due to water born illnesses and diseases. What do they care? The affluent can mostly escape the ills of environmental degradation as well as crime and all the other ills of society. The challenge is to create jobs while at the same time maintaining the quality of life. The Republicans are not upto that challenge and sometimes I wonder if they even have the skills to formulate such a policy. After all their Congress folks are elected from low income, less technologized states. People in these states are not called upon to solve complex problems as part of their daily lives. hence they cannot think brightly and it shows in their choices of their Congressmen. They are nowhere near to being on the same team. We have to do like Obama.........let the American see them for whom they are so that became hated and ignored.
