Personally I don't need to dismiss Perry's religiosity because I don't have a problem with it. I brought up Obama's prayer meeting because none of the people supposedly worried about theocracy seem to care about it if it's coming from the left. Perry's been governor of TX for a decade and the state doesn't make people go to church, people dance here and everything. I find it hard to picture exactly what a religious threat someone like Perry is. He opposes abortion and gay marriage but he's running for President and believes in the 10th amendment so I don't think he'll legislating morality by executive order.
