Bush increased the debt by 100% in 8 years. Under Obama, it is about 40%.

When you have obnoxious individuals sometime you have to crush them.

Thank you for posting that reminder. It will come in handy. Too many people here (IMO) are trying to be PC and nice, especially on one side.

"The far right Republicans are more concerned about getting rid of President OBama and improving the economy."

Sounds like you are talking about the same think. Getting rid of President Obama is what is needed to improve the economy. He constantly bashes oil companies, insurance companies, medical providers, coal companies and many other corporations. He doesn't seem to realize that this is where jobs come from. I don't believe he could explain how wealth is created. This economy will not improve until he is replaced by someone who is pro business.

"I do not recall in my lifetime any President who inherited such a mess with the exception of Present Franklin D. Roosevelt."

Obama complains about what he inherited and some people claim he has it tougher than any other president. In his 2 1/2 years in office he has face no challenge that comes close to what Bush faced on 911 and the days that followed.

"My only criticism of OBama is/was, "he did not call out the TEA Party and let them crash the system." I would have played "hardball" with them. When you have obnoxious individuals sometime you have to crush them."

So you consider anyone who opposed raising the debt ceiling as obnoxious. Does that include Obama and Biden who voted that way in 2006?

“The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies. … Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that ‘the buck stops here. Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better.” …….. Senator Barack Obama
