I lived in Dallas for twenty years, and that's one state (maybe you live there) that has no state income tax. What's included in the sales tax is convoluted to the extent that even that cashiers have to consult their bosses quite often.

I have not joined the Perry love-in yet. Just watching and listening. That said, anything's better than what we've got in The White House now.

What I am sick of, is the chinese checkers that both sides of the aisle are playing with their respective tax cuts. They're still playing to the tune of reelection.

Get the money out of D.C. and the PAC's the lobbyists and all the money chasing bastard will fade into the woodwork.

IOW TERM LIMITS. And realistic term limit – say ten years, and the next guy gets to play in the fish bowl.

Oh, and one more thing…TERM LIMITS!

Hi Steve!

I keep reading your posts and seeing the same thing.............that everyone here are Perry supporters. I didn't find the post you referred to, but I remember distinctly writing to you about religion and how the Constitution prohibits the government from getting involved in religion. I think people here like Perry because he is the most conservative candidate and the most viable candidate on the right. I'd guess (and this is just a guess) that most posters here are very to very, very conservative, but I'd also guess that most of us don't really know who Perry is and like me, they are biding their time and watching. I can say with great certainty that I am not ready to endorse any candidate.

It was just that I found the love fest for Perry more than a little strange on a board that professed to be representative of the majority. And then as if to be ringing of the bell every clown out there showed up to tell me how wrong I was.

Steve....there will be a choice for President....it will be between Obama and either Romney or Perry. Many here think that Perry so far seems the better choice ....and I for the life of me can't fathom why anyone would want Obama again, unless they have hand outstretched for the government dole...and don't have enough brain power to realize their freedom of choice has been taken away -- done away with by themselves.
