yes , Irene formed alot closer in than Katia ... they were originally expecting Irene to veer more oft shore & just grazing the coast .

Lately though have been more of a subscriber to "if the worst can happen" thesis given everything else thats happened since tsunami <g....wondering if there is a link to where an entire replay of the last track of Irene could be viewed & replayed from start to finsh ?

Is this their experimental model for tracking Katia now ?
