"does it comport with your intuition and experience that contingent things do not need a cause and that things come into being from nothing?"

"what are you talking about ?"

Just looking for a straight answer. I consider your meandering, rambling response to be an evasion. Are you saying that cause and effect with regards to contingent objects does NOT
comport with your intuition and experience and that you DO believe that things come into existence out of nothing?

You claim:
"in this area no one knows anything really ..."

Not true: We know, with a high degree of scientific and philosophic certainty that the universe is expanding and the universe is not eternal. We know every effect in our universe has a cause and we know that something does not come from nothing. Your intuition is unscientific, illogical and philosophically naive.
