July 2011 EIA Natural Gas Data – The EIA-914 production and EIA Natural Gas
Monthly demand data for July 2011 was reported today. Onshore U.S. natural gas
production of 64.7 Bcf/d increased 0.4 Bcf/d sequentially, slightly exceeding our
forecast for a 0.2 Bcf/d uptick, while June’s growth was revised downward to 0.2
Bcf/d from 0.3 Bcf/d. Thus, U.S. onshore natural gas production increased 6.4 Bcf/d
in July versus the same month one year ago. Natural gas demand of 60.9 Bcf/d in
July was below our 61.7 Bcf/d estimate.
