longnshort, why work the margins (those areas that have been hashed and rehashed over, and over)? Your post is obviously directed at someone you believe to be on "the other side".

This position using the word "civility" as a hammer has been beaten to death.

Posts like this only alienate. And more important, do nothing to further a dialogue that's inclusive of the vast middle majority; and that includes both dems and repubs.

How about some thoughts on how we can compromise, and move forward?
