I agree with you that my post was shallow,(i did say for what it is worth). But I think the point is that if people that work for the company believe in WDC than that has to be a good sign for the future. All to often people follow the herd and sell when things are bad and talk doom and gloom( for ex the crash of 87). Was it Warren Buffett who said "buy when everyone is selling and sell when everyone is buying". How many people on this thread are in the hole because they followed the herd on WDC. I personally believe WDC will make the proper adjustments and be back. How long that will take is anybody's guess, but I bet it is sooner than later!!

Reminds me at my time with DEC. When the shares were 25 in 1994, everyone bought only to see them go down to 18. The rest is history in december of 95 I sold for 71.

I have a small short position in WDC, the rest of my hedge.

If the market tests its lows again, then we might see seducing prices under 20.
