This should never have happened.

One of the hardest lessons we learned in Vietnam was to never to send a Chinook full of troops into a gunfight without substantial air to ground gun support from USAF and/or army attack helicopters.

You guys are getting on their nerves.

SEAL Admiral McRaven has been a Commander the entire period we have been in Afghanistan.

What is getting on his/their nerves is US casualties in Afghanistan are higher than in 10 years and they have absolutely nothing to show for it except a couple of more stars on their shoulders and these admirals know it.
