I'll have to catch it! I've always like de Palma's films!

Do you think our soldiers DON'T sometimes rape women in the countries they occupy? Hell, they rape our own female soldiers, their COMRADES IN ARMS! I don't think they'd have much problem with gang raping some Iraqi or Afghani woman! Ask the Okinawans! It's practically a sport there.

Japanese Police Arrest U.S. Marine Suspected Of Sexual Assault In OkinawaBy Yumi Otagaki, Bloomberg News

Japanese police arrested a U.S. Marine for the alleged sexual assault of a woman on the island of Okinawa, where similar incidents in the past have led to protests against the American military presence.

Marine Sergeant Phillip Edward Sawyerr, 28, was taken into custody in the capital of Naha early this morning on suspicion of breaking into the house of a woman in her 20s and sexually assaulting her, police spokesman Motoki Haneji said by phone. The U.S. serviceman has denied the charges, Haneji said, adding that American authorities in Japan had been notified.

I haven’t seen the movie… I usually don’t watch war movies because they all seem to carry a hidden agenda. However, the famous line and title of the movie “REDACTED: Truth is the first casualty of war,” is a good draw. I probably still won’t watch it though. Maybe you could tell us what about the movie would inspire such a hateful act.

Speaking of inspiring hatefulness, inspiring hatefulness seems to be the circumstance of our time. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the next generation riding on the current of our discordance but maybe the next generation will rebel against us by being nice to each other, one can only hope.

In any event it is hard to take serious people who complain about it when they are supporting hate threads like Darin’s (Monkey Man) toxic hate thread… “There is no building of goodwill with moslyms. Unless of course you become one of their murderous thugs.” ... inspirational.

Fortunately for most of us goodwill is an easy endeavor and communities all over America are living in a relatively cordial manner. However, fortunate or not for you guys, radical Muslims, and others there is an inexhaustible supply of hate to feed upon, and it seems to be an insatiable addiction once one starts down that road. I can't think of a single person I've seen turn back from it, I have seen people become compulsive and consumed with it.
