Boeing is not Obama's doing--he can't tell the NLRB what to do. Additionally the decision from the NLRB has not been made yet. they are just doing their defined job--to protect unionized workers from retaliation. If Boeing moves the entire Dreamliner production to Charleston, SC might that not effect the number of jobs available in Washington State to Boeing employees? We don't know at this point. Boeing gets to go before the Board and tell them why it won't.

The whole purpose of the NLRB was to keep Corporations from gaining too much power over workers. If you want the Country to have the kind of jobs that a working man can raise a family on this is the kind of balancing of power that government does to make sure this happens.

If you don't have government involved in business regulation a few people end up owning the entire US--kinda of like we were between 1880-and 1920.

So Government has a role in our system--the question has always been how much of a role.
