The Tea Party has initiated the Healthcare Compact. Four state legislatures have passed bills ratifying the compact, but despite both houses of the states of Mt and Az passing their respective bills, the governors of both states vetoed them. (Jan Brewer of AZ veto was a complete surprise.)

The Tea Party are currently working on Education Compacts and Banking Compacts and hope to have them introduced, drafted and voted on by the legislatures of all 50 (or 57 if you are an obamatron) states. Liberals are saying the Tea Party are circumventing the Constitution. The Tea Party is telling them to look at Article 1, Section 10.
