That is the pose you are talking about. I saw the Newsweek photograph and wondered why she was looking like that into the camera. If you see other photographs of her, or you watch her on TV, she does not have crazy eyes. Crazy is more of her expression that she can control. But if she were squint eyed then it would not be proper to call her derogatorily as squint eyed.

For the last couple of years, there has been talk about her eyes........it was the Newsweek photo that gave it national attention. However, there are other photos where her eyes look fine. And I have seen her on teevee when there is a crazy look in her eyes.......but again, not with all appearances on teevee which makes me think she is taking some kind of medication that exacerbates the look. Its also the particular color blue of her eyes............I had a friend with a similar color and his eyes could be off putting in the right light. Maybe that's all it is with Bachmann too......the light.
