Perhaps.

Frankly I don't see Sarah Palin as the weak partner of the McCain-Palin duo. I lost personal respect for McCain because he failed to support Palin when she came under attack -- after all wasn't Palin his chosen running mate?

What a disappointment that man turned out to be; hard to believe he learned his leadership loyalty at the USNA. I sure as Hell would not have wanted to serve under him in the service.

With that said, I don't think the continuing criticism of everyone remotely conservative by liberals is working anymore. Like the worn out "it's Bushes fault" argument that is met with guffaws, folks are now recognizing the smell of liberal bullshit.

Unfortunately, Sarah paid the political price by serving as a Christian-Conservative lightening rod for the left.
