I completely agree with you on term limits.... Still doesn't get to the real problem we have as a republic. Partisan politics are just that. Whenever the country is in a crisis mode as it is now things get more partisan until there's no confusing positions and a decision about which direction this country takes is eminent.... if this process never happened then we'd still be talking about slavery..... IMO Partisan politics should take a back seat to what's right and wrong or good and evil....
